Day 92 - brrr!! Felt like winter road riding

I went out on the "Muffin" ride this morning - a casually paced ride from the center of town that is geared for conversational pace. The road is a cold place. Especially today - 23 degrees out! My fingers and toes were not happy at the end.

But in the middle of the ride, I chanced upon these geese enjoying a break in the ice at Horn Pond. Wow. Talk about serendipity! This is one of my favorite photos of the year.
