After lunch, we headed to Lincoln Peak, where Katie resumed her snowboarding for a few hours before going back to skiing to finish out the day. When we looked up, the sky had cleared, and we were treated to this nice view of a few backlit clouds.

Day 2 - January 2 - snowing at Sugarbush!
Katie and I had a nice Day at Sugarbush and enjoyed some fresh snow. We started at Mount Ellen, where this photo was taken. We made the mistake of skiing (Katie) and snowboarding (me) underneath the lift on the Hammerhead trail, though. It was classic "dust on crust". My friend Paul and his family showed up at the mountain slightly after 10, and we enjoyed quite a few fun runs and lunch together.
