Jan 8 - Day 8 - This freeze has to let up!

These girls had breakfast when it was 0 degrees out. I am not a chicken. They have down. I do not. I wanted to go ride this morning. But... it was 0 degrees out.

So I finally made it out on the bike in the afternoon, when it was a balmy 16 degrees out. The reservoir is freezing up quickly...

The sun was setting at the end of the ride, so I bracketed five photos and created my first HDR photo. I'm not a fan of this look, but I'm just trying it out.

It was definitely another slow ride. There are many sections of glare ice that I needed to stop and avoid since I don't have studs on my bike, yet.
